It doesn't seem right for the police to withhold this information from the people they have sworn to serve and protect. You and I wouldn't be afforded this privilege. In fact, they will turn over your name and mugshot to the media, and websites to be published, even if you are wrongly accused. . . .
How is that OK ?
Seems to me like they are more interested in serving and protecting themselves. . . . . .2 AnswersLaw & Ethics6 years ago
You can see it being kicked up when the players slide or drag their feet across the surface. It looks like dirt or something
I thought it may be some sort of rubberized substance to help protect against injury, but my brother thinks it is there to help weigh the turf down.
Someone told me it was material that was raked into the field to make the fake blades stand up.

I have seen some of those shows on classic cars, and many times they are able to say how many cars were produced in a certain color, or with specific options packages.
I have a '71 Dodge Coronet / Broham, special ordered with a 383 Magnum. I want to restore it, and I need to know if I should keep it original, or if I can go full out resto-mod.
The places that I have found on the web don't even list the 'broham' model as an option.
Is there a place on the web with this information?
Maybe some books available?
Or even some experts or consultants who can research this info for me?
Any help is appreciated.6 AnswersOther - Car Makes7 years ago
I know many of you will call me a troll, but I'm really just trying to understand you. Even though I think you are going against nature, I support your right to choose what is right for you.
My question may seem ridiculous to most, but there is already some evidence that suggests that plants may make choices.
Everyone knows that plants are living, breathing things. So if it were proven that plants actually do think and feel pain, how could you live with that? It would make eating nuts or beans the equivalent of eating a chicken egg, and even make maple syrup equal to milk. And worse than that, breaking off a few sprigs of herbs may be akin to cutting off a goats leg to eat, without killing it first.
The way I see it is, in nature, for something to live, something else must die. Cruel as it is, Its the way of the world. I too would like to think that humans have risen above our inbred animal instincts, and have a responsibility to treat animals humanely, but we don't have the ability to change nature.
Vegans would have only three choices;
1) Deny the new science, and continue as you are.
2) Go back to using animal products (as humanely as possible).
3) Stop eating all together, and die.

If you can't even get through lap 1 without crashing into the other drivers, why would NASCAR let him on the track? He seems to wreck more often than others, and is the only driver I know of to cause a horrific, fiery crash while driving all by himself on a caution lap. How many wrecks can you be involved in before being considered a danger to yourself and others? I have even seen him take out some drivers, then re-enter the race, and then take out more drivers. Any stats on races vs. crashes?10 AnswersNASCAR7 years ago
I am thinking about restoring it, but I don't know if I need to stay completely original, or if some changes would be OK. Nothing radical, but maybe a posi-track and a color change.
It was special ordered with a 383 magnum, and other upgrades, and may be very rare, if not one of a kind. I know that thousands were made, as they were used for taxis and police cars, but I have owned it for 35 years, and have never seen another one like it.
I have many ideas on how to make it better, but would hate to find out later that I had destroyed its value as a potential collectible. I looked on the web some, but couldn't find any real answers.

I thought that the police had to at least identify a suspect before unleashing massive amounts of deadly force. Lucky for them, it wasn't just a scared kid, or hobo hiding in that boat. Why haven't every one of those cops that discharged their firearms, at least been placed on administrative leave, or suspended?3 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police7 years ago
