  • Care for a pregnant rabbit?

I have a year old doe that has never had a litter, but she has had a few false pregnancies. I am soon going to be getting a six month old buck, which I will breed with my doe. I know the main idea of what to do, but I would like tips like how to increase fertility, what to feed her, and how to insure the life of the kits. I would also like to know if it is okay to still let her have exercise, or if it could harm her or the kits while she is pregnant.

    Any answers would be appreciated.

  • MMA or other in Albuquerque?

First of all, I am 14, weigh 98 pounds, and am 5'4". A year ago I was a major weakling. Over the past few months, however, I have strongly disciplined myself and now am pretty strong. I have always loved fighting and currently have $400 available, which I want to last me at least a year. I want something practical, hard, and very cheap. I would be grateful for any answers.

  • What kind of snake to breed.?

I want a kind of snake that is cheap, breed easily, can have same genders together, and are small. I don't care how popular that snake is, because I can improve on the breed. I have already had experience in selective breeding chickens, rabbits, and fish, and I have learned you could start with the most common and cheapest thing and get something big. I don't care what the snake looks like, I will love any snake.

  • Breeding Mini Rex Rabbits?

I bred my tricolored mini rex doe to a beautiful broken otter mini rex buck earlier today. This is my doe's first time being pregnant, and I want some information. I researched on how much to feed, and lots say a cup a day until a few days before kindling. In those few days, how much do I feed my doe? And any other information on feeding or kindling would be extremely helpful.

  • Where to get mini rex rabbits?

I already have a tricolor 6 month old doe, and I want to start breeding tricolor mini rex rabbits. I won't be able to attend the ARBA convention. Is there anyone who either will ship cheaply, or is there anyone who breeds tricolors near Albuquerque, New Mexico?

  • Too much acidity or alkaline for mollies?

My Creamsicle lyretail mollies are starting to get black spots and their fins are starting to look beat up. I had tried for a while to breed guppies, but every time I got five then they would all die. There must of been at least ten times I tried. I had the water tested a few times a Petsmart. At first they said it was a little bit high with nitrates, but pretty soon I had that fixed. I have had the tank medicated with a medicine that cures many diseases, but the mollies have still looked not great. They still are mildly active; they also have bred multiple times and I have managed to save four baby fry. The weird thing is that the baby fry look just fine, while the adults seem to be suffering. I have many other kinds of fish, which all seem fine, except for the platy. Is the problem that their isn't enough acidity or alkaline in the tank?

  • Keeping same rabbit genders with each other?

I am starting to go into rabbit breeding and I want to have four main hutches:2 large ones(one for males, one for females), and two breeding cages. I am confused and have found multiple links on keeping the same unnuetered or unspayed genders together.

    Links for:

Those are just a few of the differences. Is their anyone who has had experience? By the way, I do plan on building LARGE hutches if the same genders can be kept together.

  • is this a contagious freshwater disease?

First I will list the fish that I have an my 30 gallon tank:

    one male red wag platy

six adult and five baby lyretail mollies

    two glofish tetras

one peppered and one green corydras

    two khuli loaches

    one female swordtail

    three otocinclus

    one female dalmation molly

What I am worried about is that my red wag platy was healthy a few days ago, frequently showing and displaying its fins, but it has started hiding, drooping, and this morning I saw bright yellow blotches on its fins. Is this a disease, and what is the cure?

Could it be Columnaris (Cotton Wool Disease)?

  • How to ask county commissioner?

My 4-H club is going soon to attend a county commissioner meeting soon. The current county law is that urban homes can only own 15 chickens, including one rooster. first of all, that is an old law, and second, I love chickens and I hate being restricted. The neighbors don't care about our chickens, especially since we give them fresh eggs from time to time. We own 12 chickens right now, and we want more to be able to love and sell at fair. How would I make a proposition to county commissioner at one of their meetings to change the law?

I live in New Mexico, ABQ, Bernalillio

  • Would breeding the smaller anal and gonopodium fins of male lyretail mollies help?

I know that many male lyretail mollies have their anal gonopodium fin deformed or too long to breed with. I have six creamsicle lyretail mollies; two males and four females. I am going to end up selective breeding them, and I am wondering if breeding the males with smaller anal gonopodium fins would fix the problem, because I want a higher success rate of males that are able to breed.

  • need information on hatching chicken eggs?

I have raised chicks for two years and am thinking about starting from fertile eggs. I am also wondering if it is alright to turn the eggs almost every hour to give the embryo more exercise. Is that alright, or is it too much?
