• How do I alter the sound level on a SKY+HD digibox using the remote controll?

There is a volume + and - on the remote but this does NOT alter the audio level from the digibox neither does the 'mute' on the remote do anything.

  • My Goodmans DAB/FM radio (GSR80DAB)has some odd problems?

Quite often after working normally for a few hours it just drops back to S/By on it's own? Also very often when I switch on from 'cold' everything appears normal ( good signal strength and station correctly indicated) but there is NO audio until I switch off and start up again? Anyone know what's going on here?

  • Why should a small country like Scotland have full government independence?

At present the SNP led Scottish government is not independent at all as the London government still has authority over all the major issues. So really the Edinburgh Parliament is just like an overgrown council. Is there not a good reason just to let Scotland go and 'stew in their own juice' !

  • A faulty Goodmans GSR780DAB portable DAB/FM Radio?

It 'drops off' on to S/By mode sometimes without anyone touching it. Why is this? Also after it has been left on S/By overnight when it is powered again there is no audio coming out of it and only works once it has been 'reset' by switching off and on again at the mains. No batteries are fitted. What is wrong?

I have one satellite dish with an Octo LNB fitted (i.e. 8 separate O/Ps )and the 8 digiboxes are in a cupboard upstairs with the RF O/P's from each box sent to the distribution arrangement of various amplifiers in the attic before being sent throughout several rooms in the house via normal co-ax cable already installed all round the house (behind the plasterboard).

  • Does anyone feel it is a wrong principle for us all in the UK to be forced to pay £135per yr. for TV licence??

All the licence money goes to the BBC. Even if one NEVER watches any BBC TV or listens to any BBC radio you still have to pay for the BBC. This is extremely unfair and it really annoys me when I see the way the BBC squanders money and grossly over-pays many of it's so-called 'stars' . It seems to me that the UK have got themselves in a dreadful mess with governments in London, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast not to speak of Brussels!!! Surely it would be a far more efficient system to have completely independent governments in each country??
