• Shopping cart that doesn't use prices.?

    I'm looking for a hosted or self hosted shopping cart that will allow me to not show prices on some items. Be able to check out items without a price and without paying to submit the order. We will get back with the customer on the final quote. But still have items that can actually be paid for in the store.

    I was told that you should not turn them up all the way because it "burns them out" or breaks them. And was told that he had one turned up all the way all day or something and it didn't last very long. I've had one for years I use at no more than 3/4th power.

But when I revisit the original site that has the popup and redirect, it will give me the alert but I quickly see in the address bar that it visits the other site but then it bounces back to the page I was just at that has the alert. If I clear my cache again it works. The redirect works always in IE7. I can't show the page because it's confidential. But hopefully someone might heard of something like this before. Here is my javascript but changed the alert text and domain. Both sites are on https. No other javascript on the page, its very clean. function redirectConfirm(){ alert("You are about the visit another website"); window.location = "https://www.anotherwebsite.com/"; }

    I have a ajax popup that grays out the screne but any select drop boxes that are behind the popup bleed through in IE6, because IE6 doesn't understand z-indexing on select boxes. So I used a big transparent iframe to gray out the screen. This works perfect with no bleeding. But now on FireFox, because my popup forms have input boxes over top this iframe, the blinking cursor doesn't show. This is a documented bug that is tricky to fix. One idea is doing some positioning tricks to all the input boxes that need cursor but it just pushes everything around and alot of CSS recoding will have to be done. I have many popups. I'm thinking it would be easier to go back to the original gray out and fix the IE6 bleed through by making all input boxes disappear and then reappear/only show those in the popup by saying "make all inputs inside this popup div visible after hiding all others" Instead of referencing all my input ids individually.

This the number 1 is placed into the block element of the id 'ajaxDiv' on my page. From what I understand and by looking at the code 'ajaxRequest.responseText' is that value and is what is placed into ajaxDiv. I want to do this in the javascript instead of putting a 1 on the page. if (ajaxRequest.responseText == 1) alert("duplicate") but it doesn't work.
