What's the cheapest service (cell, VOIP, or other) that I can keep my old phone number with for a few months?
I am NOT looking for a phone contract, but prepaid, VOIP, or any other services without contracts would be great.
Any suggestions?3 AnswersCell Phones & Plans1 decade ago
Which phone is better for CINGULAR: Nokia E62 or Cingular 8125? (It must be CINGULAR, not another carrier. It's a work phone on a company Cingular account.)
I plan on using data services only, mostly e-mail with a bit of basic Web browsing.
Which of these Cingular phones would you reccomend?6 AnswersCell Phones & Plans1 decade ago
Are there any prepaid cell phone providers in Anchorage, Alaska?
It would be a gift, so "regular" post-paid accounts are NOT an option.
I've looked at Tracfone, t-mobile, and Cingular. None of them offer prepaid service in Alaska. Are there any other carriers out there that do? The use on it would be minimal (10 minutes a week, perhaps).3 AnswersCell Phones & Plans1 decade ago
I have the script to sync the date displayed with the visitor's local computer.
Is there a way to "sync", or display the date (i.e. march 8, 2007), on your web site automatically?2 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade ago

What fellowship programs or grants exist for study abroad that are NOT exceedingly competative (i.e. Fullbright Scholars)?
Are there any humanitarian programs that pay for your graduate school abroad in exchange for you interning/working/volunteering overseas?
The only thing I've heard of that sounds like this is the Rotarian Ambassadorial Scholarship. Is that a "guaranteed" scholarship, or is it just as competative as the U.S. State Department's programs?2 AnswersStudying Abroad1 decade ago
I have several years of management experience at work. I've done extensive community service. However, my undergradate GPA was lacking (around a dreadful 2.25 approx.). I'm having a difficult time finding a decent/good school to attend on-campus.
I'm not looking for the usual online schools like Strayer, etc.
I've been looking for months and have not come across any traditional, on-campus programs in any state that seem willing to accept me. I screwed up in undergrad., and am frustrated.
What should I do to move forward?
Should I take courses as a non-degree seeking student to prove I can obtain a good GPA then apply? Are there any better options?2 AnswersHigher Education (University +)1 decade ago
- Work/management experience
- Strong community involvement
- Weak undergraduate GPA.

I sometimes get really weak either just sitting there at work, or when walking around the city. At other times, I feel fine doing the same activities.
I consider myself reasonably in shape. I run, walk, do martial arts, and am fairly active. But, some days-- or even parts of a day-- I get really weak for a while. It goes away after resting for a while.
Any suggestions for building stamina? Anyone experienced this?2 AnswersPain & Pain Management1 decade ago
