My dad just bought me a red eared slider yesterday. The seller gave it in one of those plastic cage things and said that the water level should not be more than half an inch so he can also walk on the small island he has. He is pretty small, so I'm pretty sure it's a baby (Its around 2-3 inches). What I'm wondering is that if I should keep it in more water. The guy also said it might drown in too much water. We are planning to get a fish tank for him, but we are not sure about the water level. Also, the guy gave us those log foods for him, and said to feed him those once a day. Other websites say I should feed it other things as well, like worms, fish, and lettuce. Please help, I don't want it to die!!!!
