  • Are microwaves really that bad for you?

I've been told and have read that microwaves cause cancer. Both eating food from it and standing near it while its on.... as well as breaking down nutrients in food. Is this all true? I'd love to give up microwaves but I find them so convenient .. especially since I don't have time to stand by a stove for 30 minuets verses popping it in... show more

  • What are the benifits of wearing 100 % cotton?

I know that cotton is softer. More breatheable. And a natural product as opposed to spandex and polyester but are there other benifits? Is it more or less eco friendly? My daughter has sensitive skin and gets very small patches of eczema on her back.. I'm wondering if switching her clothes to all 100% cotton would clear it up.

  • What are parabens?????

I have been attempting to reduce chemical exposure to my family by changing many of our products to green/all natural products in our home. We've switched cleaning products, deoderant, soap, lotion, laundry detergents, etc. I've noticed on many of these products they will say paraban free (sp) but I'm not really sure what parabens are..... show more

  • Why is breastfeeding so controversial?

I don't understand why people get so snippy about it. When they see someone breastfeeding in public.... or some people like to give their opinions on how long they think is too long to breastfeeding.. what buisness is it of theirs? Breast is best we all know that right? Then why treat breastfeeding mothers like aliens?

I don't care if the design is no longer perfect.
