  • Can't stop worrying!?

I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks in 2010, I'm now 6 weeks pregnant and terrified that any day now, I'll start bleeding and lose it again. I know there's nothing I can do to prevent it but has anyone else been through this worry and managed to stop? Thanks everyone, I can't be excited until I stop worrying

(They were found in a warehouse so I'm guessing it was fairly cold) Any other tips? Thanks!

What're your thoughts on this? Think it's possible or just some women imagining an easy birth? I think it's strange how humans are the only ones to have THAT much pain in labour, other mammals don't; if you've ever seen another animal giving birth it's not half as painful. Just curious so no nasty comments please :)

I've tried putting tea tree cream on them but he hates it so it probably hurts or smells awful. Does anyone have any tips on healing chapped lips on puppies? I can't stop him licking and I don't want to put bitter-spray on sore and broken skin unless there really is no alternative :( Thank you!

  • Making a poorly puppy feel better?

My 13 week old puppy has picked up a virus from somewhere. He has a fever, his eyes are swollen and discharge pus daily and his face and inside his ears are covered in little boils/bumps. The vets given him antibiotics but the bumps look so sore, is there anything I can put on them to make it more comfortable until the antibiotics kick in?

Again he thinks this isn't fair on him. So I was just wondering what level of privacy you had during these stages and what your reasoning was for it? I've been made to feel like a bit of a freak for wanting solitude during labour, delivery and breastfeeding :/

He hates her, a lot, and instantly got mad at me, expecting me to back down and not go. I stuck by my decision and said I'll be going with her so now he's told me not to contact him for a few days because he needs to think about our relationship.. My sister has been an idiot to us both in the past but I refuse to cut her out of my life because of it. Joe says that because I refuse to cut her out, it'll cause serious problems for us. He can be possessive but he's not controlling in any other way so I need advice on how to handle this situation. Breaking up with him is NOT an option so please don't suggest that. I just need to know how you would tackle this, thank you so much.

I have 4 fantails (about 2 inches long) 10 minnows, 5 danios and 2 snails. They all have lots of swimming-space from one end of the tank to the other and the ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels are all zero. I presumed this is what would tell me whether the filter can handle the amount of fish or not, but I've been told that a. The amount of fish I have is fine if they're all happy and healthy, b. I have too many fish and should probably take a couple out c. I should get rid of ALL the fish except TWO fantails!! I'm getting so confused, how can I tell whether its overstocked if the fish are all happy and healthy and all the toxin levels are down? It just looks ridiculous to have a huge tank and two little tiny fish in it :(

Used the right dosage etc but now a few of my minnows and danios are hanging around at the top of the tank with their mouths at the surface of the water. One danio has red poop, I've fed bloodworm yesterday and the day before that but she's one of the ones with her mouth at the water level. The actual surface of the water looks a little filmy and bubbles are collecting all around the tank edges, I'm worried that my fish are suffering! Any advice would help loads, thank you.

She then asked whether I thought the disaster was foretold in the bible, to which I replied I doubt it. She flicks to a page that says something about nations rising against nation, and earthquake after earthquake destroying the world etc etc. I told her I'm not religious but she pressed on, gave me reading material and said she would return next week to discuss it further. I just cannot be rude, I dont have it in me; so what would you have done in this situation and what would you do when she returns next week? Helpful answers are much appreciated!!
