  • Well, duhh! Of course Israel has a right to exist - but should it be on land siezed from Palestinians?

Our U.N. allowed this travesty back in 1948 and we American taxpayers have suffered for it ever since. Of course, the displaced Palestinians and their descendents have suffered the most as have the many immigrants to Israel who didn't realize the explosive situation they were getting into.

  • Why does Bush want to attack Iran (i.e., have puppet Israel do it)?

Is it because Israel is not the "puppet"?, but rather, the acual, the master (i.e., the Israel Lobby)?

  • Wouldn't a true "non-Euclidian Geometry" result from throwing out the 1st Postulate rather than the 5th?

The 1st Postulate, namely that "a line may be drawn between any two points", leads directly to Zeno's Paradox, that motion would be impossible. It also allows the construction that results in the Pythagorean Theorem which leads to the need to create the irrational numbers.

  • Bush said: "Iraq enemy far from being defeated." How many of our sons have to die to defeat them?

Our son, in the California National Guard, was just called up. So we are very biased now in this matter. But the way Bush talks, your sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, friends could be next.

  • How do we criticize a top Jew or ***** without being called "anti-semetic or racist"?

The honest response to criticism should be something like "you're misinformed", or "you're misinterpreting the facts", but not name-calling. The scary thing is that the public seems to buy these bullcrap responses and our media and politicians pander to them.

  • O.K., why doesn't Katie Couric's so-called "Free Speech" survey us about our 3 billions a year aid to Israel?

Why doesn't CBS ask our Congress why they don't survey our opinions and open a public debate on aid to Israel?

I tried my representative David Dreier and senators Boxer and Feinstein and couldn't even get them to respond to this idea.

Every taxpayer needs to demand from our representatives that they at least survey our opinions and debate openly before rubber-stamping the Israeli Lobby's request to continue our three billion dollars a year rearming of Israel that we've been doing for over 30 years.

Their indiscriminate use of our cluster bombs is still killing and maiming people in Lebanon, which recruits more suicide bombers for Hezbollah and Hamas.

Isn't this a newsworthy topic? Or is it forbidden territory for the news media??

  • Should Bush rename our "War against Terror" to "War against non-Israeli Terror"?

Our taxpayer-funded Israeli military terrorized the whole nation of Lebanon while supposedly only targeting the Hezbollah. Hundreds of Lebanese killed, thousands injured, at least a million homeless, devastating destruction of the bridges, highways and other infrastructure (at least 2.5 billion in damage) and the fouling of the once-beautiful Beirut beaches. Our government has not acknowledged and condemned this terrorism, so I guess we should rename our "War against terror" to "War against non-Israeli terror", because that's what it is now.

  • Bush: "it's time to address the root causes of our problems". Does Bush really know the "root causes"?

The main root cause of our (United States) problems is our continuing "right or wrong" blind support of the militaristic Israeli Government. Every one of our bombs, missiles and tanks Israel employs just adds dozens, if not hundreds of recruits to Arab extremist groups such as Hezbollah. It's hard to believe Bush and his advisors can't see this. If they don't, they're incompetent. If they

do, they're demagogic sophists for failing to act based on the truth.

  • Bush: "Every nation has the right to defend itself against terrorism". Should we help Lebanon defend itself?

Nobody is more terrorized right now then millions of Lebanese.

Hundreds killed, thousands injured, one-fifth homeless. Does it matter to them that Israel has "good intentions of eliminating Hezbollah"?

  • Do Americans know that we are financing Israel's killing of innocent civilians?

My wife and I have been protesting our 3 billion a year giveaway to Israel for over 20 years to no avail. It seems most Americans just don't know of this. Our government could have stopped this extreme overreaction by the Israeli government instantly, but chose not to. Our so-called "war against terror" is now a joke by not stopping the Israeli terrorizing of the Lebanese people (and our 25,000 Americans there). One fifth of those poor people are now homeless and our gutless president and Condileeza Rice just spout meaningless slogans during their suffering. And when this travesty does stop, our gutless congress will quietly push through an emergency package of several extra billions to pay for it. We're not members of any organized religion, but they have a saying that applies here: "When you sow the wind, you reap the whirlwind", and we will, because now most arabic peoples hate our guts.
