I have hypothyroidism and PCOS with insulin resistance. I'm here hoping to help others with the condition and to learn new info as well
I've been having slight dental pain around a back tooth for 2 months now. Hot or cold do not bother it. Biting on it does not make the discomfort worse. It kind of feels like an irritation around this one tooth. The tooth was xrayed in October and showed no problems. A week ago, I finally decided it was time to see the dentist about it. He said he could find nothing wrong with the tooth or the gums. He told me to stop using the proxi brush on that tooth for 2 weeks and see if the pain goes away. It's been a week now since seeing the dentist and the discomfort is still there. Today it seems slightly better, but stil there. It's not a severe pain. Just feels like pizza burn. Anyone have any ideas?1 AnswerDental1 decade ago
My cat was spayed on Tuesday. When I looked at the incision site it looked like a small hole. Is this normal? I've had cat spayed long ago and they didn't look like this. I'm guessing she had internal stitches, but what's up with the hole?6 AnswersCats1 decade ago
Why is it that people in their 20's expect to be able to buy anything they want even if they can't afford it?
I know a few married couples in their late 20's who cry poverty, but yet have all the latest things such as new game systems, cell phones, new computers, new cell phones. To me, if they can afford all the latest gadgets, then they can afford to pay their bills and stop asking their parents for things.5 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade ago
Many people think that more people today are overweight because we are eating differently than two decades ago. Also, there has been some research that soy causes thyroid problems and soy is an ingredient in many processed foods. The increased weight from the processed foods are causing many to develop diabetes also.9 AnswersOther - General Health Care1 decade ago
If your doctor tells you that you have a medical condition, do you do everything he/she says without questions
Just curious if others research their condition for options or if they do whatever their doctor says without question.
Since having a medical condition, I've learned that I get better care because I research about my condition and can discuss what I've found with my doctor.8 AnswersOther - Diseases1 decade ago
Anyone know of a hair color for natural redheads to cover gray that will look natural and not orange?
I'm mid-40's and a natural redhead, but slowly getting gray at the temple areas. I'd like a natural looking color that will cover the gray. Most hair color companies make hair color for those with brown hair. I've only tried semi-permanent. The best match I found was casting colorspa by L'oreal in a color called amber, though this is getting hard to find in stores. Plus, I'd like somethig with better gray coverage.9 AnswersHair1 decade ago
