  • I was wondering if anyone has had success breastfeeding twins?

I just found out this week I'm expecting twins (I'm 17 weeks pregnant so it was a bit shocking.) I also found out that they are girls. Breast cancer runs in our family and I know if you breastfeed for 6 months it reduces not only my chances, but my daughter's chances as well. That's the most important reason to me. When I found out it was twins, I had given up my dream of breastfeeding. Now that I know they are girls, I am really starting to consider this. I breastfed my son, and really hope to be successful at nursing my daughters. I just need to know if anyone has breastfeed, or if you know anyone that breastfeed twins successfully and for how long. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

  • Do husbands really want to breastfeed?

I did some searches for breastmilk and found an alarming number of questions about husbands/boyfriends wanting to breastfeed. I am curious as to how many of these answers are real. I have one boy and had a very hard time breastfeeding him. I also didn't like the way my breasts looked so I would keep them covered from my husband. I would always wear a bra during intimate moments and he never saw me naked while I was nursing. So the topic never came up with us and I'm just curious is this just a select group of men or do alot of men want to breastfeed. Just curious, so please don't belittle me or give me crappy answers.

  • Do you pray for the president?

I was just wondering who prays for the president? I do agree with most of what he says, and if I'm completely honest, I think it makes praying for him easier. I was just wondering if all the people that disagree with him, pray for him as well. I know that may meen I'm not a very good person, but at least I'm honest. My point is I was just wondering if you disagree with his choices, do you still pray as much as his supporters?

  • When do you start feeling the baby move during the second pregnancy?

This is my second pregnancy (actually my third but I miscarried that baby at 6-7 weeks.) I felt my son moving between 17-18 weeks. I am currently 12 weeks. Earlier today I was sitting on the couch and felt a "bubble" in my tummy..... My first thought was oh the baby is moving. Then I realized it is probably too early. The thing that has me thinking, is that it didn't feel like a gas bubble. I was just wondering when do people usually feel the baby move during the second pregnancy?

  • Loosing weight during pregnancy?

Ok so I'm 11 week 5 days pregnant. I have had some morning sickness but not too bad (at least not as bad as with my son.) I have lost 9 and a half pounds so far and I'm not trying. I am eating (I just can't eat alot of meats.) I'm able to eat high carb foods and fruits and veggies. I was sicker with my son, ate less and didn't loss this much weight. I've had a few protein shakes but still can't seem to gain any weight. I know some weight loss is normal during the first trimester, I was just wondering how much is too much? When should I start to worry, or should I even worry until the second trimester?

  • When do I take my toddler out of his crib?

My son will be 2 years in Feb. He still sleeps in his crib and is not crawling out (not even trying.) Some people have told me that I should take him to a "big boy bed" now. Others have said not until he starts crawling out of his crib. I honestly like him not getting out of his bed until I'm ready for him to, but am I being selfish in waiting? The next part of my question is I have a convertable crib... but I don't have the conversion kit. Is it better to buy him a new bed (I can use the crib for the next baby, due in Aug.) or should I search the web and find the conversion kit? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • Who are the repulicans running?

I have seen several democrats running for the presidency. Who are the repulicans running? Have they just been lost because there is more diversity in the democrats or are we giving up on all repulicans?

  • Should I find out the sex of this baby?

I am pregnant with my second baby. I want this one to be different. I found out what I was having with my son. I want this one to be a suprise! Hubby wants to find out. He said at least he should find out so he can decorate the nursery (He won't let me see it.) I trust him that he won't tell anyone and will keep it a secret from me, but I don't want anything to slip up. This baby is just as much his as it is mine and I realize I should consider what he wants, but I still don't want to know. Am I being selfish? Hubby says that I can pick out all girl stuff and all boy stuff and he will pick up what ever it is. He wants to know why I want to not find out, and the biggest reason is sharing the suprise with the family. He suggested getting the u/s tech to write it on a piece of paper and finding out with the family at a party. I don't know what to do and keep him happy.
