  • My cousin recently went to a doctor. My cousin claims that he had a glucose level of 626. He is a little shorter than I, he is 5'6".?

My mother had diabetes. One she had a glucose lever of 425 and was immediately hospitalized. Shouldn't my cousin have been admitted to a hospital? Wouldn't he be close to a diabetic coma?

  • When did the stop giving adopted babies smallpox vaccines?

I ask this is, my husband was born in 1967, he has a small pox scar. His adoptive parent's claim he had it when they received him, but they supposedly received him 3 months after his birth, according to them. They are not currently available for clarifications. What we do know is his mother and possible father may have actually come from Norway prior or after his birth.

  • What is the chemical and medical difference between Percodan and Percoset?`?

I live with chronic pain, and the mildest drug that works and doesn't send me into orbit is percoset. But the FDA is looking to ban everything with tylenol in it. And I am worried about finding a substitute. I tried working with a specialist for pain and they put me on Methadone and Lyrica. That was gave me a bad reaction. The methadone made me see 4 computer screens and messed with my head. Lyrica gave me high fevers. SO what is the difference between Percodan and Percoset? And why is that just because a few elderly people have a bad reaction, we lose a good drug? I lost dimetap which was the only drug I could take because of my asthma, I have a drug like celebrex but it had a different name and it worked. They pulled it off the market the month after I got it.

  • Does Oregon use "electronic" signature ie fax or email as legal documents?

Our land lord agreed to an adjusted date for our rent for 18 months, each month by email. Then literally out of no where we are handed a voluntary notice to leave due to 3 72 hour notices. All of which she sent per her own words "as a formality." If she sent emails not only agreeing to but thanking us for paying each month period, do they constitute contracts due to electronic signatures. I understand I am not soliciting or accepting legal advice but rather opinion and will hold any and all harmless.

  • Is PDC - PHONE DIRECTORIES COMPANY - having financial problems?

Has anyone heard if this company, based in Orem, UT is having financial problems? I am a customer of theirs. I overheard my sales rep talking to his wife on his cell phone. He was is in his car with the window partially down. He was explaining that not only were they not paying him or his fellow sales people commission (they haven't for at least 5 months) but his last check was missing one week. The company would not say when they would pay that. I have also heard that they had to have one Oregon Directory reprinted due to printer error and this is delaying other books. Has anyone heard anything about their balance sheet?
