I had an annual pap 3 years ago and it came back abnormal. I went back to the Dr. to have a biopsy. The results came back that I had HPV. My doctor told me that there are different levels of the virus, 1 being almost nothing, and about 6 being warts, and 10 being cancer. I have about a level 2-3. I had no symptoms, no warts or anything. I asked her if I could get warts she told me no, because that was not the type of HVP that I had. She gave me no treatment and said that it would clear up on its own. And it did. By the time I had my next pap, it was gone.
But about 3 years later, I noticed two raised bumps on my husbands penis. I asked him what they were and he said that he didnt know. I wonder if they are genital warts? We have both never had sex with anyone else. I know they can be spread by skin to skin contact. But could my HPV have caused them? When my Dr told me that the HPV was not the wart kind?
So does he have genital warts? or could it be something else?
