  • Cleaning up someone else's "wild ride" on your toilet?

Has anyone else had to do this? Seems I do it for adult family members quite a lot(and no...not my hubby)...I get sooooo grossed out!

  • What can I do about a cat who scratches my grand kids without being provoked.?

I am at my wit's end with this cat. He is 2 years old, poly-dactyl and neutered. He will just nail them for no reason at all. I have watched it happen. The only thing I can see is that they are now afraid of him and stop when they see him...sometimes he scratches, sometimes he doesn't. He has VERY powerful arms, and the scratches are deep. I don't want to declaw him, but would like to find a solution to his behavior. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • How do you recover from watching your grandchildren be born and die all in less than an hour?

On 12/23/06 I was in the hospital room with my daughter(we had been there for almost a week). She was 21 weeks pregnant with my identical twin grandsons(Aiden and Shawn).....my first grandchildren.

At my daughters request, and because I would've been no where else at the time, I witnessed my grandsons come in to the world, first Aiden, and then Shawn(feet first). I watched the boys be placed on my daughters chest, and live for about 30 minutes.

My daughter is the person I am closest to in the whole world. To watch the tears, and anguish on my "first time mother" daughters face just haunts me.

I had lain awake the whole night before watching the contraction monitor rise and fall.........praying almost every second to God to please let my gransons live....but it didn't work.

Has anyone else ever been through this?
