I have never downloaded Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite/Photoshop basically anything for myself before and have just bought the Creative suite (£15.88/month) and am trying to install it to my computer (Windows 8). I have downloaded the Creative Cloud Set-Up but am unable to get any further than this. When I click on the download, it looks like it is going to download (Adobe Installer, Downloading Creative Cloud desktop and a loading bar) but then it tells me it has encountered the following issues: The remote server is not responding in a proper manner. Now, I have been looking online for a solution and I saw something about changing an OOBE file in Program Files x86>Common Files>Adobe and at first there was no OOBE file so after more looking I thought I might have to download the Adobe Application Manager, which I did, but that doesn't work either, it just says unable to Reach Adobe servers, check internet connectivity (don't think there is anything wrong with this, I've not had any ther problems with internet connectivity) and firewall settings (i disabled the firewalls). So I really have no idea what to do, the forums and help sites are confusing and none of the suggestions appear to work?! Please help! Thanks in advance!

  • Revlon Colourstay (Oily/Combination) application? Fingers, stippling brush, other?

I have been applying it with my fingers since i bought it, but I find it leave a streaky finish. Also, it looks strange on my skin; not a smooth finish, not flawless but not cakey... I'm not sure how to describe it! I don't know if it's because of my skin or because of the way I am applying the makeup. The shade is really great... show more

I'm not sure how to describe it! I don't know if it's because of my skin or because of the way I am applying the makeup. The shade is really great and matches my skin perfectly. better than any other makeup I've used, but I just feel I'm not getting the best out of it! Can anyone offer any advice? I have seen that some people like to use a stippling brush, but they aren't really cheap and I don't want to shell out for something that may not work for me anyway? Thanks in advance!

Or would it need to be processed in specific chemicals? Obviously if it can't, then I need to find out what chemicals they use at university and buy compatible film? I'm not too fussed about getting colour and I know at college they only have black and white processing chemicals, I definitely know you cant process colour in black and white chemicals..! I know this is probably a stupid question because of course it is going to cost a different amount wherever you go, but this is roughly what i want http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?um=1&hl=e... and about the same size too with colour and and a quote around it in plain text. I want a really rough guess as to how much it would cost from a good tattoo parlour. The thing is I wanna save up for it first and with it being my first tattoo I really have no clue at all how much to save. Yes I know I should go into the place I want to get it done and ask, but I want to have the money saved up first... agh! Haha! Many thanks in advance! :D

  • Why is it such a big deal when any couples want to kiss and cuddle in public?

Is it jealousy? I really can't understand. If other people want to kiss and cuddle in public then I've got no problem with it - live and let live. Why do people seem to be so disgusted by it? It's only kissing/cuddling!

  • How many slices of bread in ONE sandwich?

To settle an arguement... My Mum seems to think it is only one whereas I say there is definitely 2! If you only have one slice of bread, it's only half a sandwich!

I'm just looking for ideas for my project, if you don't mind sharing your ideas with me :P... So far I've done couple of macro shoots of oil on water and water on plants and the oil on water one worked quite well and played around with Photoshop techniques to make it look more "abstract" and I have played around with solarisation in the dark room as an abstract technique. Sooo if you have anything else, any photographers, ideas for shoots, I'm open to anything please share! Thank you!

Will I need to lighten my hair with like a toner or something first to get it blonder/less yellow/whiter or can i just put it on my hair as it is now and if so what colour will it go? If possible I'd just like to use the Directions dye rather then damage my hair with any other blonde dyes or whatever, I'd just like to know how it would turn out if I did just use the Directions dye. Thanks! :)
