  • We lost an Ash tree last night, pulled up at the roots by the wind. Does it have any value?

It is a very large tree. At least 50 years old. It should have some good lumber in it, I would hate to see it wasted as firewood. Does a single tree like this hold any value for sale?

  • 1993 Dodge Caravan 3.0 - running rough, no power - need suggestions?

    Thus far we have replaced:

fuel filter - needed it, but did not improve problem

distributor cap - again probably needed it, showed some arcing, no imporvement

vacuum line - needed it - in very poor shape, but still did not improve problem.

Idles smoothly, but once the engine warms up it starts running rough and has no power. Check engine light is not lit up.

  • If you think that a woman is the only one who has the right to choose an abortion....?

why do you think that a man should have to share the responsibilty if she chooses not to abort.

I think abortion is wrong, but I wonder about those who are pro-choice.... how do you justify that a woman gets to choose whether or not to have a baby, but the man has little or no say in the matter... he only has to pony up the money if she chooses to keep the baby.

  • Paint the doors or no?

We have remodeled our bed room. Wainscoting around the room with a small chair rail and textured/ paintable wall paper on top. The wainscoting and chair rail are painted "shade tree green" a sagey green color/ the top is painted "muted gold". I love it, but the wood veneer doors look funny to me. I want to paint them and DH wants to leave them. Which do you think would look best and which color if painted? Thanks!

  • I have small white winged bugs on my tomato plants?

I am a novice gardener. What are these bugs and how do I get rid of them? I sprayed for aphids a week or so ago and now this.

They seem to be mostly on my patio tomato. I have some early girls, better boys and a cherry tomato that they aren't on so much.

Thanks so much for your help!

  • Does anyone here use cloth diapers?

Cloth diapers have changed alot. Don't believe me? Check out some on Not my site, ,but I have purchased a few diapers from her.

If you don't, why? They are good for the environment. They are good for little bottoms. They are good for the ole wallet.

I was really suprised to find that disposible diapers have ingredients that were banned from tampons in the eighties. We can't use them once a month, but we will strap them on our babies behinds for years!
