I filled up the lawn mower today and spilled a little, less than a 1/4 cup. I used a rag to clean it up and have been worried ever since about how to dispose of the rag. A friend of mine said to lie it flat outside, let it air dry to cure, until it is hard/stiff and then dispose of it. He said to keep an eye on it while it dries, just incase. Since I won;t be up late, I don;t want to leave it to dry unwatched so I found a metal container, filled it with water outside, put the rug flat on the bottom, and a few stones to make sure it doesnt tip over on this windy night. Will it be okay there until I get home from work tomorrow night?2 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade ago
(Change of status, altering status or extenstion of stay) when I travelled into the USA from canada. My question is, my b2 visa expires in 2 weeks, if my american husband (we were married last week) applies for a spousal sponsership does that sponsership application lengthen my visa so I will legally be in the country while it is pending?3 AnswersImmigration1 decade ago

Aside from throwing myself into work and staying busy, what can i do to stop missing him so very much.?
My fiance and I are currently in different countries. I miss him sooo much. We talk every single day, no exceptions. We send emails almost daily, instant messages, photographs, written letters and cards, packages etc. We are very very close and he is the love of my life. I won't see him again until Christmas and I have been missing him soo much it just consumes me sometimes. Aside from throwing myself into work and staying busy, what can i do to stop missing him so very much? Time seems to go so slow w/o him and his loving arms :(13 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade ago

He walked out on my mother and brother and I when I was 12. I watched him walk away. He would maintain a relationship with my brother but not with me. He invites my brother for xmas and holidays, not me. He was supposed to look after me for 2 weeks when my mum was out of the country and I was 15, he dropped me off home alone after 2 days. I used to go out of my way to try and maintain contact with him but it became obvious he wanted nothing to do with me so the last 12 years have come and gone without him in my life at all. I am leaving in a few months, moving abraod, eloping, and I won;t be back. Should I contact him before i go? I am sure he will hear about it from my brother and I am sick of always being the bigger person when it comes to him. He left for another woman and she had daughters my age-she called n told me at 13-he has new daughters now, he doesnt need u. I am asking this q again just to see the answers. I am torn on what to do and yes he is my biological father.14 AnswersFamily1 decade ago

Always busting my fiances balls, not nagging, just keeping him in check, alot of it just joking. I like putting him in the hot seat, make him sweat a little, heh. Aside from that I treat him great.

I have always worked very hard but as he has a great job it has been decided that I will take some time off and just relax. He wants me to be in complete control of the finances, even though he will be the only one earning an income. Are there any other women out there in this situation?13 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships1 decade ago
