  • Car wont start, bad alternator. Can i jump it and get to the shop?

Yesterday my battery light came on while driving, I drove about 20 miles and then parked at home. When I tried to start it today, it would not start because i'm sure the battery was not charging because of the alternator. If I jump the battery will this give me enough juice to get to a auto shop?

  • Ok if someone can figure this song out your the biggest music buff!!!!?

Ok, so this may be really tough because I dont know much info. This is a fairly new song, at least within 5 years I believe. It is a rock song. The music in the background is almost sounding like a symphony(not transiberian orchestra). I would compare it to like Metalica. Also it sort of sounds like the music from all the lonely people by the beetles. Keep in mind this is a rock song. Throw any ideas out that you have!! Check back and I can let ya know if the song sounds close or similar!

Can the scientific method be applied to historical analysis?

This is a debate me and a fellow co-worker were having. Do you believe that the scientific method can be applied to historical analysis. I was not sure and want to get some other opinions.

  • Theory of science or a philosophy of science?

A set of related theories from cosmology known as the Cosmic Superstring Theories assert that all matter and energy in the universe are fundamentally composed of cosmic strings (ultra-small mass-energy particles thousands of trillions of times smaller than an atom). Cosmic strings give rise to quarks and leptoquarks, which in turn give rise to protons, neutrons, and electrons, which in turn give rise to atoms. However, because strings are so small, scientists can only infer their existence mathematically. At present, scientists have no way of experimentally testing whether or not these strings actually exist.

With this in mind, is Superstring Theory a theory of science or a philosophy of science? Let me know what everyone thinks.

Clopyralid is a chemical that can seep or leach through soil and contaminate groundwater. Consequently, users are advised not to apply clopyralid over soils with rapid permeability (such as loamy sand or sand), particularly in commercial or residential areas.
