  • What is the band/song called from this music video?

it was a rock bank / punk idk what you would call it. if u have seen thumb wars or kung pow, they used that same technique to put the lead singer onto the main characters mouth. at the end it had abunch of sweet cars with lights under them and the girl in the bed floating in midair. it was done in maybe 2000-2006.

  • What would be different if The Bible taught Evolution?

I mean, would everyone be Christians then? We all would believe in Evolution then right? Would we be discussing some other nonbiblical process to explain life? Just something to think about :).

(this is mostly aimed at the atheist/id crowd)

  • Why are people asking theological questions here, and not going to religious places to ask them?

Theres about a billion synagogues/churches/seminaries/other places of religion to get actual doctrine/dogma answers. I have seen far to many questions asking why nd then the person feels upset because they git flamed or they didn't receive any satisfying answers. and do not say, "because its called religion and spirituality...retard". i realize this, but i have seen the same questions about the same things and the same frustrated people.

  • Why do people always take the same concepts out of context from the Bible?

    1. Do not judge.

    2. Do not kill.

People are always taking these concepts and saying, "see, see you christians are being hypocrites". The do not judge phrase means to not judge hypocritically or in an arrogant attitude. For example, if i tell you to not to smoke cigarrettes while im using chewing tobacco. we both got problems so i shouldn't judge him when i got the same problem. The do not kill phrase is actuallly stated as "do not murder". to murder someone is to do it intentionally. To kill someone is to do it because the aggressors made them. For example, an attacker shoots the man he is robbing=murder. Someone is attacking my wife, with a knife, and he won't respond to my calls of put the knife down=kill (self defense).

  • Where does your morality come from?

If from yourself, how am i wrong?

If from society, how is another society wrong?

What's the standard that judges whether one person is right and one person is wrong?

Was Hitler wrong in his actions? If he was, why? Was he wrong because his morality was different from everyone else?

1+1=2, but what's that third thing that tells us who is right and who is wrong?

  • Have you ever had these objections to Christianity?

    1. Since evil and suffering exist, a Loving God cannot exist.

    2. Since miracles contradict science, they cannot be true.

    3. Evolution explains life, so God isn't needed

    4. God sin't worthy of worship if he kills innocent children.

    5. It's offensive to claim Jesus is the only way to God.

    6. A loving God wouldn't torture people in hell.

    7. Church history is littered with oppression and violence.

Then check out The Case for Faith: Lee Strobel.

I just got it for like $8 at amazon and it answers all these questions/objections.

  • If evolution is correct, then why don't we have the many advancments that animals have?

We should have wings, rows of teeth, impenetrable skin, gills, webbed feet, and so on. Instead we are left with extremely weak skin and a brain. True the brain can create things that do those advancements but at the cost of the planet. Kinda stupid for the planet to create something that destroys itself. yay we made an airplane so now we can fly. woops sorry about that massive pollution and use of fossil fuels. You kinda have to agree that animals have alot of things humans don't have, that evolution says they should have.

  • Isn't life kinda pointless if there's no God behind it?

I mean why have kids, why go to school, why do anything if your just gonna die in the end for pretty much no reason. If there's no purpose to the world then there's no purpose in me, and that just don't sound right through these ears. If my mom says be nice to that old man, why? Why can't i be mean and take his money.

  • In relation to my question posted earlier, look at these then answer me about no embryological proof. please?

The Developing Human: Clinically Oriented Embryology, 6th ed.

    Keith L. Moore, Ph.D. & T.V.N. Persaud, Md., (Philadelphia: W.B. Saunders Company, 1998), 2-18.

"[The Zygote] results from the union of an oocyte and a sperm. A zygote is the beginning of a new human being. Human development begins at fertilization, the process during which a male gamete or sperm ... unites with a female gamete or oocyte ... to form a single cell called a zygote. This highly specialized, totipotent cell marks the beginning of each of us as a unique individual."

  • Does anyone know why theological issues and ethical issues aren't debated on television?

I mean so much has gone both ways, but i have yet to see a real debate on anything. I always hear about debates on a campus 1,000 miles away, but none that i can go to. I'm seriously waiting for a debate on abortion. Modern embryology has shown conception=human life, so why do they still have abortion for all these girls who accidently get pregnant and not for serious medical reason?
