My Prom is a week today and I bought some heels last week. I've only ever worn heels once and I was stumbling all over the place and they were tiny! They're not like stilettos, they're like tall kitten heels, maybe about 2 inches high. I've been looking on th net and I've found out that you have to put your heel down first and don't bend your knees etc, but I still feel like Bambi learning to walk! I really need some expertise and quick !
Thanks in advance!1 AnswerFashion & Accessories7 years ago

I was watching this movie in English but I can't remember the name, I'll try give as many pointers as I can remember;
- it's got Scarlett Johansson in it (if i spelt her name right...)
- There's these people in a science facility place
- they get told that if the win the lottery they can go to 'the island'
- it's set in a dystopian universe where there's this disease and the survivors go the facility
That's as much as i can remember. Thanks6 AnswersMovies8 years ago
okay so this is a bit of a weird question but PSHCE makes me thing about morbid things like this and then i get curious...
so here's my question to you guys; do you think that if a person had an illness and they were taking medication that was necessary to make them better and it relieved their pain, if they stopped taking the medication, would you consider that as self-harm?1 AnswerMedicine8 years ago
I am currently revising for a probability exam I have in a few weeks time. Learning the content and applying it is the easy bit, I am just having some difficulty in knowing what distribution to use when answering a worded question. Like for example, if I was asked a question about rolling a fair die til success of getting, say, the number 6, I would know that this requires a geometric distribution. Could someone please describe to me in which scenario I would use the following distributions:
Binomial, Hypergeometric, Poisson and any other standard discrete distribution I may have missed out. Also could someone give the definition of what a Bernoulli trial is.
Thank you :)1 AnswerMathematics8 years ago
Could you please include the following things;
- whether they are found in plant, animal or microbial cells
- what they are made of
- what their function is
And please do so in the simplest way possible.
Additionally, is this on the syllabus for GCSE Biology? Because i'm sure i learnt about it but it's not in my revision book and google is confusing me.3 AnswersBiology8 years ago
In case you didn't know; Trypophobia is a fear of ;lots of small clustered holes.
I've had this fear for as long as I can remember, mostly being triggered by everyday things like plum stones/peach pits. I only recently found out it had a name and was a real phobia, before that I just thought i was being stupid and weird. But now I know what it is, I want to know why and how, can anyone help me? It follows me everywhere, i only find bliss when i forget about it, but since I found out bit was a real phobia i can't seem to forget. Can anyone give me information? NO PICTURES PLEASE! It's turning into anxiety. Please help me.2 AnswersPsychology8 years ago

Or is GCEA right and have i tuned it wrong?3 AnswersOther - Music8 years ago
I freakin' love all animals of any shape/size, but daddy long legs' creep me out. (I'm talking about Crane Flies btw). They move so fast! I'm absolutely fine with spiders and arachnids it's just these ones. It's because they can fly and crawl really fast and they're just everywhere at once! I know it can't hurt me i just don't like it being there even though it has every right to be. There's one outside my room right now so i've come inside and shut the door tight! I won't kill it, cuz that's cruel i'll just stay away from it. Am I allowed to call myself an animal lover if i'm scared stiff of daddy long legs? I FEEL AWFUL! I wish i could love them like every other animal :( How can i do that if i'm scared of them?!1 AnswerPsychology8 years ago

I just signed up for a DeviantArt account for something to do in the holidays and have done four pieces so far but only one has been commented on, does nobody like my art? I'm not saying I'm an artisit but I didn't think I was totally terrible but now I'm just sad. I was hoping to get at least one comment on each of my drawings. Nobody's even looked at them :(8 AnswersDrawing & Illustration8 years ago
Me and my sister are having a debate, she was critisizing me for having a Harry Potter wand when she herslef loves Katy Perry whose music videos (most not all) have some sort of sexual reference. Not that I don't like Katy Perry I"m just trying to make a point that she can't crtisize me for liking something she considers creepy. What is your point of view?12 AnswersPolls & Surveys8 years ago
So this is a little embarrassing but here goes...
I'm 15 (and developing) and lately I've noticed that my nipples look a lot bigger than they used to. Is this a sign of development? Or does it mean I've stopped developing? Or do people just have different sized nipples? Sorry if this is a stupid question....2 AnswersWomen's Health8 years ago
