I needed to replace the shower head, arm, and trim flange of my price pfister shower controls. When I removed the arm, it did not unscrew out of the usual brass elbow in the wall. Rather, it unscrewed out of a plastic flange mounted to the face of the tile. Also, there is about 3 inches of copper pipe stubbed out of the wall, thru the middle of this flange. The chrome finish flange is deep enough to cover this plastic flange. How is the plastic flange removed? It seems to just turn on the copper pipe without coming off.1 AnswerDo It Yourself (DIY)1 decade ago
I have an 06 chevy express van, and the driver door seal ( bottom only) has come loose. I have seen other express vans on the road with this weatherstripping hanging out. Is there an online resource for the weatherstripping and the little crappy plastic clips they adhere with?3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade ago

my projector is an epson powerlite 76C,
2000 ansi lumens, XGA resolution.
There is med light to low light (dark at night) where I use it(my livingroom). Would a white or grey screen work best? I am assuming either screen should be high resolution. Are there other good screen manufacturers other than Da-Lite?2 AnswersHome Theater1 decade ago
I am assuming I have just basic wiring to the thermostsat. The thermostat is just a basic mercury switch. As a simple solution, could an HVAC pro install a simple switch on the unit itself?1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs1 decade ago
I would like to purchase a digital projector for a home theater system. In the summer time, use it to project on the side of the house, for night time entertainment. I intend to use a flush-mount retractible screen for inside the house. I have a budget of about $1100.1 AnswerHome Theater1 decade ago
