  • (Check description) Should there be a comma in this sentence?

Best answer: I think it could be either way, but there is a different problem. The ambiguity whether it means hurt Ella in addition to others who one hurt, or you, too, hurt Ella, in addition to others who have hurt her. Context might clarify this. But what floats for me may not match Strunk & White, so you had better check a style manual. show more

Best answer: That is low mileage so you should expect no problems. It is a classic case of a first car too. You may want to trade it for a fuel efficient car after a while. You sound like you are living at home and you can get lots of good use out of a car without driving everywhere. You could also set it up to camp in. In single trips the gas cost is not that bad. It is the wagon that holds it back. Otherwise you could get 28 on the road. Wagons weigh way more. I wonder why he wanted a wagon? You will have to look at the tires, change the oil and that should be it. If automatic, you could change the fluid at 100k miles. (?) but that is for extra credit. On my car, I found the stablizer links were shot and an easier replacement I cannot imagine. A good car will be no trouble while a bad car demands to be rebuilt. But you cannot beat the economic deal of the automobile marketplace compared with doityourselfing. But getting it from your family is the best way to get a good car, even if not necessarily suitable. What is REALLY unsuitable is a car that breaks constantly, doesn't pull its weight, puts you in the poor house despite you best efforts. That is what you are avoiding.

These repairs, especially if they involve brick or concrete, require an aggressive approach best found in someone who does the job every day. If you find that fresh water is flowing then you might as well cut out a square judiciously because the water will ruin the plaster anyway. You would most likely use a whole sheet. Of course you need to redo the plumbing to last, otherwise you will be back in the sheetrock business in no time.

As far as cutting the smell is concerned I had a bad experience with a tobacco smoker. I discovered that sealing the electrical outlets (including overhead) will eliminate a direct path. Patch any defect which could allow penetration. I also caulked the entire perimeter of the room along the baseboard. (This last was not a rental but a concern for dust). Finally--and importantly--see if there is a hatch in the closet to the attic. Seal that as well. Smoke goes through the attic.. Use science. The smoke cannot penetrate the wall itself.

Best answer: Ah! I just replaced my sink. AND I am not a self-interested professional. I don't know exactly what you mean, but it sounds like you need to get a new gasket. To install it you must remove the plumbing underneath the drain and remove the drain itself using a special wrench around the large ring around the drain underneath. I had no such wrench but tapped the ring around with a hammer and screw driver. There is a risk of breaking it especially if it is a plastic ring. However, you can get a replacement in either metal or plastic. With that ring off you can take the drain out and replace the gasket. You will need some way to hold the drain from the top to keep the whole thing from turning. There are actually two gaskets, the rubber one and underneath a paper one. I am not sure the need for the paper one. You can also use plumbers putty for a gasket or both. In any case, I got my sink installed and it does not leak. It isn't as easy as you might hope, so you may just want to get a plumber. For him it will be child's play.
