Edit: Because energy is the root cause of all of existence and even if there are things about energy that breach our knowledge of the natural, it only expands our knowledge to include our new found knowledge as part of the natural. How many things in our past were once considered magical only be replaced with natural solutions when we finally figured them out. There is no beyond natural, there is only our ignorance of all that nature includes.

  • Why can't Americans accept the fact that gun control would work significantly in reducing gun related crimes?

We have gun control, but gun control is aimed at law abiding citizens, not criminals or the mentally disturbed. The statistics show in the U.S., states with high gun control have more gun violence than in states who allow their citizens to bear arms. Even prisoners say their worse fear is not the police, but an armed citizen who will gun them down.... show more

When housing became overpriced due to investors over speculating, we had the housing bubble pop and houses became dirt cheap as investors attempted to unload out of panic selling. Had you been middle class and had your ducks in a row, that would have been the time to buy a couple of houses. When things get too expensive, the market always corrects, likewise for when things get too cheap. There are always bargains, year round, every year. If you don't want to be poor, there is a way to leave poverty. I know this one 45 year old man who was dirt poor but he decided to come to my middle class neighborhood to see if he could wash cars. Guess what? Many of my neighbors pay this guy $15 per car to have their car washed and vacuumed on a regular basis. He bought a bike and made a little trailer to pull his cleaning supplies with and I dare say this fellow is employed full time and making decent money because he took a chance.

  • Did Jesus have a wife?

Based on how the New Testament writers wrote, it is likely that Jesus did not exist and was meant to be used symbolically as the New Temple, to replace the Jewish Temple that had been corrupted by the Roman Empire. Ignoring this, there is no indications from the writers that Jesus was married, which would have been very odd according to Jewish customs. show more

The root cause for everything is energy. Why? Because energy cannot be created, nor destroyed, meaning it has "always" been here. The only thing that energy can do is change from one form of energy into other forms of energy. Because there is a continuous chain of energy conversions, we get certain complexities that form. While information is part of energy doing its thing, there is no beginning Intelligence to interpret this information due to the natural order, which is always from simple to complex over time. Even our own intelligence came about through the natural order where at one point there was no intelligence on this planet. The Big Bang was just another natural energy conversion that gave us the subatomic particles for our first atoms to eventually form that produced our first stars that upon their deaths gave us the heavier more complex atoms to give us the rest of the universe.

You can't help who you fall for, but this guy is not leaving his wife willingly and even if his wife divorced him, he sounds like he might use you until he finds a replacement. It is a strange relationship that many married couples have where the relationship has plenty of good parts and there is a lot of time and especially money invested in that relationship, but neither is able to fulfill all of the critical needs of the other. It is this lack of certain companionship components that cause men and women to fulfill them on the side with no intention of breaking up the marriage that still means a lot to them. This is why people looking for "serious" relationships often avoid married people. Occasionally a spouse is looking to leave the marriage but doesn't want to be alone, so they find someone else before leaving their spouse. If this guy was like that, he would have left by now. It's not even necessarily about the sex when married people stray.

A positive state of mind only increases your chances for success, it does not guarantee it. There is no law of attraction, it is more like seeing solutions that were always there but your limited senses prevented you from seeing the answer until you changed your state of mind. It's like driving down a familiar road when you are hungry and you magically notice all the places to buy food that you never noticed before. Your hunger changed your thinking so that you allowed your senses to allow food places to be filtered in. You can attach any magical fantasy to this simple truth about state of mind and it will sound believable.
