From the perspective of christian belief, Jesus is the only way. From the perspective of intelligence and common sense, Jesus is unnecessary since a God is supposed to be all powerful, no middleman required.

I feel like you are talking about "gnostic" atheists, not agnostic atheists. Agnostic atheism is about not accepting the "claim" based on the current evidence and reasoning attempting to support the claim. The time to accept a claim as "plausible" is when there is supportive reasoning that allows it to fall into the realm of real possibilities. For example, life on this planet grants the "real" possibility of other life in our universe. I don't know if any other life exists but I know the very real possibility exists. There is nothing like this for magical super Beings that contradict much of what we already know about existence. Should we discover any other magical beings/creatures, then Gods would fall into the realm of "real" possibilities and a person could drop the atheism part and just be agnostic of the possibility. I am a gnostic atheists myself and understand why Gods are impossible, but most atheists don't but that kind of effort into their lack of belief. They simply stop at not being convinced of a highly unbelievable claim, which is why they share the belief of theists but are open to any new information or reasoning that could change their minds.

Only in the sense that I would not dwell on the past to prevent building hate and resentment in myself towards this individual. Forgiveness is never about the other person, it is a tool we use to move on with life and not stew over being wronged.

I guess the subtle difference might be that an agnostic atheist usually assigns the "agnostic" part to state that they can "imagine" being wrong but are generally confident they are correct that there are no Gods. Whereas an atheist agnostic might as well just be called agnostic, because pure agnostics do lack belief or they would be theists right, but instead they grant the "imagined" possibility that Gods could be real and just settle for being unconvinced or believe the concept itself would be unknowable even if it were possible.

The concept of God as defined by us humans is like the concept of a square circle. The contradictions are how we know both are impossible. It would be like me asking you how much is infinity? No answer can be had because it attempting to assign a value to a concept that has no specific value. One main contradiction is to the natural order, which has to always be from simple to complex over time. There is not one thing that naturally forms or that humans create that doesn't go through a series of simple steps over time to get to the more complex or finished product, yet a God is supposedly the most complex and finished product "imaginable" that just magically skips this natural order. Of course there are tons of other contradictions where you cannot look at this world and believe a personal God is involved (one reason we have Deism) and even the attributes we attempt to assign contradict each other. Add to this the ignorance found in all holy books and religions and it becomes crystal clear we are the inventors of Gods/Goddesses. Jea, like most atheists understand it's not their burden to prove magical super Beings don't or can't exist and she is sort of pointing out the foolishness of humans attempting prove their Gods exist is the proof and she is somewhat correct, but there is so much more that can "reasonably" demonstrate why Gods are in fact impossible. How much knowledge and searching do you need in order to rule out the "possibility" of square circles? Likewise with Gods, you don't need all knowledge or to look in every dimension to understand why none will ever be found.

Technically speaking yes, because like atheists they cannot share the belief of theists. There is however a slight difference and part of it is to do with misunderstanding what atheism covers. Generally speaking, when an atheist adds the agnosticism label, it is to infer that they can "imagine" being wrong. With a purely agnostic, it's not about imagining they are wrong in their lack of belief but rather they are granting a "real" possibility that Gods could exist with no good reasons to do so and they believe atheism is about claiming Gods don't exist, which isn't necessarily the case. At a minimum, an atheist is anyone not able to accept the claim of theists that magical super Beings exist. They can stop at just being unconvinced, they don't have to take the opposite view that they don't exist. So an agnostic is essentially a very weak agnostic atheist who is more willing to grant a possibility because they can "imagine" that possibility. A purely agnostic person could be more hopeful of a God being discovered or just accept the fact that they may never know, whereas your typical agnostic atheist ranks the possibility of finding support for any Gods quite low and gnostic atheists seeing zero possibility and sometimes for good reasons.

Another advantage to being an atheist is that you have more freedom of choice in accepting new information. I can accept good advice from any holy book or religion whereas Christians are even picky on which bible you use for your information. Another advantage of being a Christian is there are plenty of churches/social groups to easily join. Even as an atheist, I am free to go to most churches and do occasionally go with my christian friends.

If you are on any kind of government assistants, having a job can cause the benefit to decrease or disappear all together. When given the choice to work for $400 a week or not work for $400 a week, most people will choose not to work. Add children to the equation and would you rather pay daycare or be home with your children? For those who receive no government assistance, in low income families, it is often more expensive for both parents to work than one stay at home to take care of the children. By the time you pay for daycare, the expense of an additional car, insurance, gas, etc., you could potentially be losing money and adding tons of stress to the family as both parents are exhausted from work. Finally, there are some people who don't have jobs because they make their money work for them through investments.

The Air Force has a long wait (or used to) from E3 to E4 of something like 39 months, but the promotions are automatic from E1 - E4 whereas in the Navy, I believe you have to test for every rank, but you can test sooner. Then there are perks that get offered by certain branches at certain times when it's difficult to find recruits. Also there is a vast difference in quality of life with the Air Force being at the top as reflected by requiring the highest test scores to get in. My on base living quarters were like very nice hotels compared to the living quarters of the other branches and our chow halls were much nicer. You can also notice certain personality types get drawn to certain branches. I live in a Navy town and I work in electronics and often time when I test for a new job, they comment how Air Force guys test much higher than Navy guys. Because my dad was career Navy, I know why. The Air Force gives us most of our training up front in your first term of enlistment. The Navy drags their training out, perhaps to encourage re-enlistment for further training. When it comes to enlisting or even going in as an officer, it pays to research the pros and cons of each branch to see which one offers the closets match to what you are after. There is a lot more to consider than just pay, where on branch could be a living hell for you and another be like heaven.
