  • Should i go to swim practice when iam sick?

Don't. The cold temperature of the pool may make your condition worse (by lowering your body temperature) plus you risk making others there sick.

  • Should men shave their armpits?

That is a personal choice. But it should be pointed out that deodorants/antiperspirants work best when they get on the skin. If you have a "lawn" under there they aren't as effective as they should be. If you want to shave the pits completely you have to re-do it periodically as the hair grows back (if you do it often enough you'll know how the best way to do it is and you will rarely get ingrown hairs or any itching). If you decide to just trim it down then about 1 to 1 1/2 inches of hair is usually good (just remember you will have to trim again as the hair grows back). I want to relate an situation that I observed on the subway last summer. A guy got on the train with his girlfriend. He was wearing a tank top shirt. What skin that was visible was smooth and toned. Then he lifted his arm to hold onto one of the 'grab-bars' in the car - he had at least 6 inches of hair in his pits. Any visual effect he was going for was totally messed up by that. (in my mind I said - "trim the pits - guy").

THat means that only the person named & whose photo is on the card can legally use it. By your using it you committed fare evasion. Just FYI - when a reduced fare card is is swiped in a turnstile, a red light goes on just above the small screen on the front (and also on the back of the turnstile). That way a police officer can see if a person used the card and then question that person if it is obvious that the user is not disabled or a senior citizen.

Although the cars used are R46 subway cars (built for the SIR) and NYC Transit handles the overall administration (on paper) - the SIR is a separate entity.
