Why are so many people quick to associate with one individual or party; like they can t think for themselves, and get defensive when that person does or expresses something that was with ill judgement or seems unreasonable. People will pick a single individual or entity to represent the opposing party in their mind, and will see that as a reputation of the whole. Within the left wing, Republicans will say they are all Antifa, a bunch of violent protesters that want to tear down the country and start all over again, and would rather have the whole country taken down then work for a better future. All those Bernie bros just want free hand outs and don t want to do anything and let the country fall into socialism, that has never worked anywhere btw. Then within the right wing, Democrats will say the right is just a bunch of racist proudboy Nazis, that would rather neglect the poor and turn the cheek to centuries of systematic racism. So they can write a tax cut to the rich while communities continue to suffer. Trump just want to create an authoritarian government that undermines our democracy just to inflate his ego and enrich his family. I am tired of people putting a sticker on one group and saying. Yeah this is the reason you shouldn t like this party; they are all like this. The tribalism is so bad, do you think we will get over this data overload and start to rationally think for ourselves again?

Why did Donald Trump pardon an establishment liberal democrat from Illinois?

There are 3 things Americans hate most: Liberals, establishment politicians, and liberal states. Rod Blagojevich fits all 3 of these bills as he is a corrupt Liberal democrat establishment politician from Illinois. Do you think this was a good move from Trump? Why or why not?

Richard Grenell, an ignoramus and vocal Trump loyalist, to be the Acting Director of National Intelligence. How can anyone support this?

This should frighten all of us. Not just brazen politicization of intelligence, but also someone who is utterly incompetent in an important security role. The guardrails are gone.

Why is Yahoo Answers such a right-wing hellhole these days?

I've been on YA for 13 years. I remember YA being a forum with diverse perspectives represented. Now, it seems like mostly right-wing viewpoints are respected on here. If I post an answer with a left-wing bias, it gets down-voted into oblivion (or even reported). YA seems like a right-wing groupthink hellhole... show more

Don't you miss having a real president?

Things Obama did and Trump didn’t: - won over 50 percent of vote (twice) - rescue economy - initiate longest stretch of job growth in history (still going) - extend health care to 20 million Americans - set example for our children we can be proud of - respected around world

What celebrity do I look alike? ?

Best answer: You seem like a naturally pretty girl... Your hair is not done, your makeup is simple, etc... You look pretty with little to no effort, basically. You have some of their traits...but I would not say you look like them...I would say you look like you are from the same tribe.     On a personal level, I used to compare myself to celebrities and get excited when people said I look like someone famous. But I slowly became more happy to be me... And it may seem like some corny stuff... but you must live life as being happy you are the only you and you are beautiful! Regardless of society, the boys, btches, etc. Because letting that stuff dictate your life will make you hate yourself when you are old and have wasted time on what will seem then as being a petty thing.  It is hard to get through to you how serious I am because I know my own perception of life at that time. I am still young btw, I was forced out of that way of thinking by an unfortunate life-altering event. Just know that overall, celebrities are not that interesting... start traveling the world and you'll come across many different people and learn who and what really needs respect and adoration.

What does a person feel at the moment of death?

Best answer: Well, we can't really say, now can we.  Just before the moment of death, Steve Jobs was reported as saying "wow...wow..."

There are people who have been revived from hypothermia floating in the ocean who described the process of approaching death as a state of euphoria as their body shuts down.
