Open Question: Conditional Constraints in Excel?

I'm not sure what they're called. The flow goes something like this. Is there a formula or a formatting that exist in excel wherein the contents of one cell limits the inputs of another cell? For example: If I place "Anna" on cell A2, I can only input a time from 6:00 AM to 12:00 NN for her time-in. This assumes that Anna will always be in the morning shift or something like that. Anyone know anything about this?

there are broken packages in pidgin so i cant install anything and sudo apt-get install -f wont fix it and it wont let me uninstall it because some of the packages are broke it just suggests running sudo apt-get install -f

I have purchased the netbook and works perfectly.... i am using on it Linux an windows I always need a big life battery.\ Linux helps with that because when i stop doing anything on the net-book after 5 seconds the screen automatically dims. I can only make the screen dim in windows manually with keyboard shortcuts. Does anybody know of an app that will do this screen deeming in windows xp ? or does windows know how to darken the screen automatically and i am missing something ?

im planning to buy a palit gts 250 1gb green edition video card, its all i can affor for the moment but since its a green edition card that means that it saves more power than the ordinary gts 250 variants, hence its also weaker. here are the gts 250 green specs - Clock Speed: 700MHz - Memory: 1024MB - Memory Clock Speed: 1800MHz (900MHz GDDR3) and here are the specs of the ordinary palit gts 250 clock speed:738 mhz memory:1024mb memory clock speed: 1836 is the gap between the ordinary one and green edition one big in terms of power? i mean is it worth buying it then?

But yet at other times, such as just now, I turn the USB external drive off and back on...and now it transfers at 26.7MB/Sec (not sure if thats as fast as 2.0 goes)...and not freezing at all. Other times it freezes horribly and isn't even transferring. I've scanned the external drive for errors after reformatting it. No problems. I've tried updating my USB drivers - it says they're all up to date. I don't know if it's related to anything, but I recently upgraded my Bellsouth/AT&T DSL from a DSL Lite to DSL Ultra. It required no hardware or software change at all. However, since then, my computer has been super fast with internet - but extra slow with everything else. It's an HPa6303w computer with a 1.8GHz Pentium Dual Core, that I upgraded a year or two ago to 4GB of DDR2 RAM and a half of a gig GeForce 9800GT graphics card, I remember the exact model correctly. It has since purred like a kitten, and I also added extra fans (making sure everything was cooled properly, compatible, etc.) It's running Windows Vista Home Premium, but I go through and kill all the major graphic hogs, uninstall unneeded programs, etc. to make it as fast as I possibly can. My computer is acting like it has very little video memory. It's acting extremely sluggish. For instance, I've gotten messages saying my external 92GB hard drive that I use for backing up smaller files..."Could run faster at 2.0." But yet I've never changed anything. I've scanned virus scanners, scanned with SuperAntiSpyware and other spyware scanners...nothing. My computer still seems extremely slow and takes forever to transfer anything to/from the external hard drive. In the process of doing so, the computer itself "freezes" as if it has run out of video memory or is overheating (I have hardware monitors - it's not). I'm going to format the computer, but I'm trying to back up about 56GB of data to the external drive. It seems quite unwilling sometimes, or just takes forever and then doesn't really "copy" what it spends like an hour saying it is copying to/from the external hard drive. Suggestions?

hi. was wondering if someone could help me with this please im trying to do part recovery not full, but i get message on the recovery set up page that says cant perform non destructive part recovery. only full due to recent service pack installed. i used to be able to do a part recovery and keep my files but since ive put sp3 on it i can only do a full recovery, i thought i may be able to uninstall sp3 but in add and remove progs there is no option for this only for support. does any one else have problems with this, my computer is desktop advent xp media center just over 3 yrs old now. did read the advent recovery manual and that says to use either the disk which i have or go to start progs then system recovery and they both say same thing cant do part recovery thanks for any help with this

Well right now i'm on my laptop, so here's what happened: My computer was in standby/sleep mode and when i moved the mouse to 'wake' it, my computer screen went on for about 5 seconds and then went black. The monitor on/off button is still green. When i turn the monitor off and then on, it will display and in 5 seconds it will go off again. My monitor is a Philips.

My pc is switching to the desktop after some minutes. It doesn't matter what program I'm running, pressing keys or not on my keyboard or mouse doesn't matter at all. You know, these monitor (display) options 1 and 2? Primary and secondary? I do not know how to activate 2 so as to connect through cable to a dvd projector. Each time I enable 2, it seems to get disabled again by default.
