If you modify a stock trade does it cost you money on scottrade?

does it cost 7 doller to change an order?

    "Turtle" is correct. 99.999999% of the time you wouldn't have an additional charge. I day trade, I ladder in and out of orders... so on a rare occasion I get a partial fill. I (however) don't pay by the trade, I pay by the share... so my cost is unaffected.

    Not unless the order has been partially filled, which seldom if ever would happen.
