1/Ce = 1/C1 + 1/C2 + 1/C3 = 3/C
Ce = C/3 = 15/3 = 5 μF

    For capacitors in series, the total capacitance is the reciprocal of the sum of the reciprocals

    1 / ( 1/15 + 1/15 + 1/15 ) = 5 microFarads

    Of course, for N equal valued caps in series, this simply reduces to (1/N) times the individual value.
