Will 85 cylinder fit a 1986 rm 250 suzuki?

I'm trying to put 85 cylinder on 86 rm 250 will it work

most likely it will, but to be sure call a parts supplier and ask what years that head will fit. most parts like that fit blocks of years (82 - 87) etc. See if you fall into that window. Hopefully you dont have the 86 and the 85 was the last year before they changed something. Sometimes you may have to get creative, but it will work.
