Suddenly I cannot open attachments in yahoo mail on 2 computers?

Question

I have tried forwarding to a different yahoo account but still cannot open attachments.So I know it is not a setting in yahoo mail..what settings on these 2 computers could stop them from opening. I click on download but the screen that has open or save never appears

I am not having any trouble sending or receiving attachments, here is the only solution i could find that may help you.

I am having the same issue. It started on 10/18 for me as well. I have the same issue in IE 8, IE 9, Firefox and Chrome. I have tried on Windows 7 and linux with no success. I had a coworker try to download an attachment on his computer from his yahoo account and it worked. I tried using my yahoo account on his computer and it did not work. At this point it appears to be an issue with my yahoo account and not my computer. To get around the problem I have been forwarding the emails to my gmail account and downloading from there.

I have the same problem, on 1 of my 2 yahoo mail accts. Started yesterday 18Oct and continues today, 19Oct. Looks like many others do, too.
Wish we could get straight answers and some help from YAHOO

Same thing happening here, since yesterday. We have had success forwarding them to our email acc't on a different server...
