Should I leave work because of my Narcolepsy?

I started work as a recruitment resourcer a month ago, I suffer from narcolepsy (w/o cataplexy)
I am finding it extremely hard to stay awake and focussed. I take 400mg Modafinil (provigil) and am going to start dexedrine next week. Im am ok in the morning I just feel awful after 2 pm.
I work a 9am to 5:30pm shift 5 days a week.

My boss knows I have narcolepsy btw

Your doctor should make that decision, because he might be able to adjust your medication to make it more tolerable .
