Okay, I'm buying a monitor to play xbox 360 In HD. Just wanted to know If It's worth the buy?

Like I said, I'm getting a xbox 360 and a monitor to play xbox 360 on, using the HDMI cables.

It's a 27" viewsonic
1080p Full HD
Response Time: 1ms
Refresh rate: 75Hz
Built In speakers. ( I no there not going to be the best, but It's something, Lol. )

I wanted to know If a 27" monitor Is a good size and If It's worth buying over a HDTV. I don't want to spend lots of money on a 120Hz HDTV. The TVs I was looking at where all 60Hz ranging from 26"-37". I'm only using the monitor for my xbox 360 slim. Just asking you guy's If the monitor will look good and do just as great or even better then a HDTV and If 27" Is good enough. Haha

If I was you I would definitely go for it. I mean, full HD? It's got everything you need. But are you sure about the size? It'd kinda small for me...
