How to show responsibility to parents?

Question

I want to get a pet (probably something in the weasel family) and my parents are super mean and wont let me. do you think i could show responsibility by getting a pet rock and taking care of it. Ithink im ready for a weasel and this is the only way to prove it. please help me

Have you already got a pet?? and I know what you could do, you could do loadsss of research on the pet you would like, make a word document for the research, then show it to your parents, and be ready to answer questions like, where are you going to keep it, who will look after it, what do they eat, who will handle it, who will clean it out and feed it. etc :)
