Part 1: Plug into point slope formula: y-y1=m(x-x1)
y+2=2(x-3)

Part 2: Solve for y
y+2=2x-6
y=2x-8

Part 3: Rearrange to standard form
2x-y-8=0

    The line passes through the point (3,-2), and has a slope of 2

    1. The formula for the point-slope form is given by y - y1 = m(x - x1), where the point is (x1,y1) and the slope is "m":

    y - (-2) = 2(x - 3)

    Simplifying:

    y + 2 = 2(x - 3)

    2. Slope-intercept form is given by y = mx + b, where "m" is the slope and "b" is the y-intercept:

    y + 2 = 2(x - 3)

    y + 2 = 2x - 6

    y = 2x - 8

    3. Standard form is given by Ax + By = C, where A, B, and C are constants:

    y = 2x - 8

    y - 2x = -8

    In this case, A = 1, B = -2, and C = -8.

    I love a bargain as much as anyone and I used to love all the cheap stuff I could find on eBay, but nowadays it seems so hard to find anything cheap over there and just when we're all finding it tougher to just pay our bills. I don't give up so I was looking for someplace online where I could still find myself a bargain... and by accident I came across this site I never heard of before where you get rock bottom prices from police impounded stuff, I mean I was worried about scams but this stuff is actually real and I got some real cheap stuff there... it's become my new eBay lol! y-y1=m(x-x1) m= slope. y+2=2(x-3) now set it up in slope intercept form by multiplying the 2 to the x and the negative 3 to get 2x-6. now subtract the 2 from the left side of the equation. You now have 2x-8.

    y - (-2) = 2(x-3)

    y + 2 = 2x-6
    y = 2x - 6 -2
    y = 2x-8
