What is crystalline vitamin C?

How does it differ from regular Ascorbic Acid?

Additional Details

Thanks, science boy, but I'm after a less scientific explanation. I mean for example, which is better for you, crystalline vitamin C or the liquid form? As in which is better utilized by your body?

Pure ascorbic acid can be crystallized from its solution. Whereas, a solution of ascorbic acid which is also known as Vit. C, is due to ionization of enol group of carbon 3. The acidity is due to released proton of this enol. It is a water-soluble vitamin. Removal of 2 protons from carbon 2 and carbon 3 gives a di-keto derivative.

It is definitely the soluble liquid form. Because, our body transports all its nutrients through blood.
