Depends on what you mean by salad There are several different types of salads like side salads dinner salads fruit salads, vegetable salads, main dish salads, pasta salads, bread salads, dessert salads( like caramel apple salad, snickers salad) also cottage cheese salads. There are frozen salads and hot salad (like hot German potato salad) there are layered salads and jello salads We also make sandwiches or stuff a tomato with meat salads like ham salad, tuna salad, egg salad, chicken salad. Salad today can be just about anything, not just plain cut up lettuce and tomato anymore.. salad is out of the box!
