Cervical/Abdominal pain after intercourse?

I have been experiencing cramping like pain after intercourse. I am free of STD's but did have a D&C last August, although if I remember correctly, I have had this issue for about a year. My spouse and I do not have crazy rough sex or anything. The pain usually is noticeable beginning the next morning to a day or two later. Anyone have any idea what's up?

It's very common. I had the same feeling for the first month or 2 that I started having sex. It was the foreign pressure on my cervix. It just wasn't used to it. After a while I started getting used to it and now it doesn't hurt me anymore. Some cervix's are more sensitive than others, though.

I didn't just start having sex. I have a 6 year old child. But thank you nevertheless.
