192.168.0.1 wont work in my address bar??

Question

when i enter 192.168.0.1 in the address bar all that comes up is a white blank screen. I need the username and password thing to show up. so is there anything i need to download or do before it will work??

I am entering the default gateway but (192.168.0.1) lol

Are you -sure- that is the correct address for your modem? Usually the IP addresses are 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.10, and not with a "0" in the thrid position. Check your modem's user manual or online with the manufacturer website.

Start > Run write cmd the Comand line will open and write ipconfig, in the adress bar put the gateway adress.

No, it's very normal, you have to enter the default user namee & password, every router have it default identification method.
