How has immigration changed education in the UK?

Part of a college assignment to discuss multiculturalism in the UK, we have to discuss how 19th, 20th and 21st century immigration has changed beliefs, values, stereotyping, culture, religion, dress, diet and education. I have something down for all the other points but can't find anything about how education has changed? Anyone any ideas?

Thanks in advance

they problem is over the time period, immigration laws have allowed people in to flood the education thus lowering the number of slots for citizens.

it needs to happen immigration, yet, it needs to be more control and less of immigration.
