How do I stop the confirmation request emails from different groups?

I keep getting emails asking me to confirm my request to join a Group. The emails come from various Groups. I was told to ignore them, but that did not change anything. I was told to copy, paste, and send these messages. This too does no good. I am told more time is needed to address the matter. How much time is needed? I do not want to join ANY group. I have no desire to be a member in any group. "HOW DO I STOP THESE UNWANTED MESSAGES?" They are a pain. Seems Yahoo does NOT know how to stop them, but that does not surprise me in the least.

Generally speaking, there's a location on those emails where you can unsubscribe. Look at the very bottom of the page. If there's nothing, try typing "unsubscribe" in the subject line and send the email back using the reply function.

One other thing, have you tried placing them in your spam folder? I find that fairly successful.

I hope you can get them to stop. They are a hassle!

Click change your email preferences on the last line of the invitation and follow the prompts or:
Click the My Email Preferences link on the My Groups page.
Under Options, click on the Edit link for each email address you want to prevent from being invited/added to a group.
Under Group Invitations, make sure the box is not checked next to Allow group moderators to directly add me to their groups or Allow group moderators to invite me to their groups.
Click Save Changes when you’re done.

what you're getting is an auto confirm from some one attempting to add your address to a group (obviously without permission) all you have to do is the below, select disabling owners from adding you

I don't know if yahoo has the option to create a rule where certain emails to directly into a certain folder such as a spam or junk mail folder, but that may be an option.

I get them too, everytime I use Yahoo Answers. I don't think there is anything you can do--they probably won't go to spam because they are from Yahoo.
