Will jailbreaking, and ultimately unlocking my iPhone 3G create any problems with my service provider?

I have an iPhone 3G running 3.1 firmware (Orange Poland is my service provider). I want to unlock my iPhone so that i can put in an AT&T sim card when I go back to the states. If I successfully unlock the phone, will I be able to just alternate between my Orange Poland and AT&T sim cards depending on whether I am in Poland or the U.S.? And Lastly, will doing this create any problems with Orange, as I signed a contract which expires in two years with phone?

No, as along as they dont change the basband again.. you should be fine
unlock via blacksn0w RC3 ( blackra1n)

it has the 5.11.07 jailbreak

i would first jailbreak it then run blacksn0w which unlocks the baseband
