Show me another »When a lease says water included, does that mean they also have to pay for the heating of the water?

They only have to provide the means for heating the water - "water included" means that the landlord pays the water bills. If the water heater is electric and electric is not included, then you end up paying to heat the water (same with gas).Sign in to vote!

NO! It strictly means they pay for the supply of the water. Water heaters are typically electric and tenants must pay for that usage.Source(s):
