you can buy property but you still need to apply to immigrate just like everyone else.

no, it's not true.

It doesn't disqualify you, you still would be eligible to get a greencard e.g. through employment, but buying a house doesn't help you at all towards getting a greencard.

For sure it's not true.There's lot's people who lives in the USA illegally and bought a house ,but they didn't get the Green Card automatically.You can become a resident through work sponsor or a marriage.
