I live in VA and I signed a month-month lease.?

The landlord requires a 60 day notice prior to termination. Is a 60 day notice legal for month-to-month? Am I bound to this agreement.

Yes it is, that is what you agreed to. IN some places 60 days is the law, even with a month to month tenancy.

Yes. The lease can provide this sort of notice requirement regardless of the term of the lease. And you are bound by it because you signed the lease.
