My biggest question is,Why does nearly the entire population of Mexico have no respect for the Immigration Laws of the US? Followed closely by the question-If they cannot even respect the very 1st Law they encounter here, why would we expect them to obey any of our other Laws?

Illegal immigration costs $338.3 billion dollars a year. We could fix our deficit by dealing with this issue. 30% of our federal prisoners are not even US citizens. Most are illegal aliens. We spend more than $17 billion every year just educating their children.

    1) How often are you harassed by right-winged nut jobs?
    2) What makes you work so hard at any job that is given to you?
    3) How come you've never heard of Reconquista? Lou Dobbs says it's true!....LOL

    Reconquista: A nativist creation

couple of years ago, I addressed the Reconquista myth because this myth was making it rounds among hard-core right-wing pundits. It seems the same conspiracy theory is once again making those rounds again. One of the approaches xenophobic conservative pundits use to stir up fear so people are willing to support tough immigration policies is race baiting. Given the history of race relations in the US, history has shown repeatedly that this nation is willingly to act aggressively in punishing minorities.

The same right-wing populist fears that fueled the Cold War anti-communism, rallied against the Civil Rights Movement and brought about the armed citizens militia movement in the 1990s have reappeared with an elaborate conspiracy theory about the reconquering of America – La Reconquista – the idea that Mexicans are invading America to reclaim it for Mexico.

Do you have any more relatives that can work for me? I just can't find Americans to do these jobs even after raising the wages.

We must tackle the question without prejudice, and as so there is no scientific proof that be brought forth about Mexicans are the leader in illegal immigration.

In reality, it's uncertain but most caught are not from Mexico, but Europe and the Far East/Asia And illegal immigration doesn't cause a Federal deficit as you believe in the billions. All pay taxes, regardless how or when, are paid by EVERYONE. If you actually read the reports these illegals do pay taxes with fake SSNs or any other fake identification during employment. In other words, they paying their way but will not collect such way through SSI, Medicare, etc. If you collect SSI or other Federal public aids, you would know how strict enforced and regulated it is. The benefits that are being stripped by illegals are State benefits, not Federal, but not greater than the legals.

Yet, the money swindled from taxpayers by US citizens are far greater than illegals....does banking ring a bell? How about pork projects? What about the over taxation on the poor by middle class who steal their identity. If you analyze Identity theft it's usually against the poor from the middle class, single females. How about the so many tax shelter accounts made by the rich to avoid proper taxation? What about all the criminal organizations who forbid to pay taxes unless it's too obvious of a tax evasion case? You cannot blame 1 thing to justify the entire Federal deficit. There's many other, and expensive, factors that exists.

The problem with illegal immigration is the definition itself. By standard, all Europeans that are in the Americas happen to be illegals. Yet, the indigenous people of the Americas do not have immigration laws, only the European countries made this up. Immigration is a European philosophy and term to enforce border laws and keep minorities in check, but yet they opening violate it frequently.

Look at Jim Carrey, he was an ILLEGAL earning MILLIONS during his time in the USA until he was CAUGHT!...MILLIONS! Look at the statistics of Student visas being issued and violated, and the perpetrator's disappearance from law enforcement radar comes incognito until they start earning MILLIONS...which they keep so long the taxes are paid. Even the illegal migration of Asians is high and skyrocketing. But Americans are afraid of Asians, so that's ok.....cough cough...China.

There is many games and games within games of illegally migrating in the USA. If you truly knew the amount you would put sniper towers ever half a mile through USA-Candian and Mexican border. Yet, even then those who migrated legally tend to do more hideous crimes and run just as fast back to their countries just like illegals. What about 9/11 =( But most crimes against US citizens are by US citizens.

But once again, the deficit was caused by a few exploiting freedoms that caused many to suffer, and illegals aren't one of them. Illegals pay taxes and hardly get public assistance programs, the ones you see are the legal ones that camp their respective embassies for the paperwork to do so. go look at the Consulates and you'll see what I mean. I work in front of one and it's not a Mexican Consulate. Furthermore, the Minorities, which illegals "conveniently"are thanks to the Majorities efforts, are not exploiting the system like in Public Assistance but the Majority are. If you look at the demographics statistics in California, you'll see Caucasians are the leaders that are acquiring such benefits.

Not what Libeterian said. She cut and pasted from a bogus email that was going around.

    http://www.factcheck.org/2009/04/cost-of…
Q: Do illegal immigrants cost $338.3 billion dollars a year? More than the Iraq war?

A: A chain e-mail that makes this claim is loaded with errors and misleading assertions. Published studies vary widely but put the cost to government at a small fraction of that total.

The source cited for at least nine of the items is either the conservative Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) or the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), both of which call for more restrictive immigration laws. CIS spokesman Bryan Griffith told us that he had never seen the e-mail but that he suspected something was out there because of occasional surges in traffic that forced him to rewrite Web pages. When told about the e-mail’s contents and conclusion of a $338.3 billion yearly cost, he responded that CIS "never said anything of the like and is not going to comment on a chain e-mail that is in no way scientific."

The e-mail also continually blurs the important distinction between legal and illegal immigrants – a sign of sloppy and untrustworthy work.

Your question is too broad in nature and does not specify any parameters like pro or con; right or wrong. As it stands you will only get rhetoric and what people think should be asked and while this might result in humorus or dumb answers you will still be left with little information that may not satisfy your requirements.

This question has been up for sometime now, in that time you could have done your own research and found more valuable information on your own.

Remember that what may seem insightful or pithy to us may not make sense to you.
