I personally think it depends on the nature of the crime involved. I mean if it was something petty like walking on someone's property or the likes then I think it only stays on your record for 4-5 years, but if it was for something like theft, assault, or purposely damaging someone elses possessions then yes it almost certainly will stay there indefinitely. Under Part V of the Police Act 1997, the CRB has a statutory duty to include on a CRB certificate details of every conviction, caution, reprimand and warning that is recorded on the Police National Computer.

Answer # 2 is correct, they have every freakin thing, even things that got dismissed or dropped. I got a first offense DUI last year and I couldnt believe what came up on the paper.

In the Uk it will always show on an Enhanced CRB Check. It will never come off.

No. Cautions and PNC checks do not show on diligence checks.
