Whats the full scoop on the new Droid Eris?

Well it looks nice and simple, and almost perfect, but i wasn't sure if it is what it appears to be. for example, i Have the voyager the black one, and it charges like $10 for navagtion $2 per ringtone $2 per song (yeah the are completely sperated and can't intergrated. blows) and for all the data transfers and $10 for internent and $10 for Vcast itself oh yeah thats per month. now thats what makes my phone just a phone and nothing special at all.
I was wondering if The Droid Eris by HTC is free from all those hidden fees and is like using google as a free source of apps almost like an iphone except you pay for calling and txts only. becuse it does have wifi (maybe a setting with "Wifi Use only" to use apps if the fees doe exist?)

The Eris will require a $30 a month data plan. There's no need to pay for ringtones or songs if you know where to get them.

the eris has FREE navigation offered by google. AWESOME btw. u can even get the directions in satelite view!! so u'll see the actual street (trees, signs, buildings, and all). u can use all the songs u have in ur comp and sync them to ur phone with a usb cable and use them as ringtones. internet is 29.99/month tho but that will be enough for 10 email accts on the phone and unlimited data so u can use alllll the apps u want. ALOT of which are free thru the android market. wifi is cool because that means u can connect to the web whenever ur vzw data service is not available. also this means u can connect to the web DURING a call =].

only fees ull have to worry abt are the ones u incur for purchasing apps but ull need a credit card for that so u dont have to worry abt them on ur bill.
