Is perfume the story of a murderer a good book?

i watched the trailer of the movie long ago and want to pick up the book, but i want to know more about it first, is it hard to read? and is it a really good book worth buying? :) Thanks!

Absolutely excellent. Not that difficult a read. It's a masterful experiment and definitley worth buying. The movie is pretty good, too.

BTW: The novel won the World Fantasy Award in 1987.
