Texas sales tax is 6.25%.

6.25% of $99.99 = 6.249375 which rounded would be $6.25

Your item is $99.99 + $6.25 = $106.24

So your item after taxes would be $106.24

I hope this is the answer you were looking for. I can't understand why everyone else directed you to a website when you specifically asked them not to. Good luck.

The TX state rate is 6.25%, however local option taxes boost that to 8.25% in most of the state. Just do the math based upon that rate -- 99.99 x .0825 = tax. (The math is 6th grade stuff. If you can't handle that, use the calculator bundled with your computer's OS.)

If you want to know the exact rate for your city & country you'll just have to buck up and hit this website: http://www.window.state.tx.us/taxinfo/lo… . Or just ask the seller what the rate is and do the math yourself.

They probably sent you to a website, because different counties in Texas have different rates.

The base rate in Texas is 6.25%. But counties can add up to an additional 2%.

So it will be anywhere between $106.24 and $108.24.
