What are my chances of playing college hockey?

I am 16 and a junior in hs, i play midget aa in little caesars hockey league. i am a pretty solid goalie, when i have a great game, i am on fire, a while ago i had 50 shots on me, 4 goals and one was tipped by my own man, and this was against the first place team in the league. However, like every goalie, i do have some bad games, but just what are my chances of playing some d3-d1 club hockey an a college team? as a decent, and real young goalie playing up, what do you think?

Playing college hockey period...your garenteed to have the skill to play some sort of college hockey. It just depends at what level. Playing for the Little Ceasers organization helps you a lot since those Detroit teams have a lot of good players coming out. Just try to get your name out there, have coaches/scouts check you out.

    Well some stats would be nice, like your save % for the last few years? You telling me that you're pretty "solid" and that you had a 50 shot 4 goal game on you and blaming one of your men for your mistakes doesn't tell me much.

    Tough to say really. D3 possibly - to be honest if you were considering D1 you would probably have been recruited already

    Source(s):

    I have friends who have played at Michigan State, Robert Morris, Western Michigan, Alaska-Fairbanks, Ohio State, New Hampshire and other top U.S. colleges.

    where do you live? and where do you want to play? that might have something to do with it.....good luck....being a goalie doesn't help your odds :(

    there's a junior league that a lot of the "good" players that aren't recruited yet play in.....some are still in high school but some have graduated and are still trying to get in...

    if I were you I would move to Minnesota....lol...we have lots of places to play :) Im a little biased tho =D
